Smaller of the many Shopko stores I've shopped at. A little crowded and a bit cluttered but the staff here are wonderful. Sets them apart from the rest.
The building is outdated and they seem to have a skeleton crew working. However they carry nicer clothing and home goods than Walmart. Prices are good when using coupons which seem to be easily available
Shopko the store itself is somewhat similar to Costco without the annual fee and buy in bulk items. I once got a Tyson vacuum cleaner for $100.00 off, an Oral B at a substantial savings. TV 's can be reduced, once a customer reported he got a large flat screen on Thanksgiving day for 50% off. The rest of the plaza has a fabric store and a few other shops plus a counseling center, public bathrooms. Huge, free parking lot.
Went to KFC / Long John Silvers. The light for the sign by the road was completely dark. Went in and ordered and the place was a complete mess. There was food and garbage all over the floor and counters. I would hate to see what I could not see in the kitchen. Took a long time to get our order. The fish was oozing with old tasting oil. Not the long John silver's I remember from the eighties in Rockford.
Lots of stores. And a bar serving hot food and cool drinks, get there.
